n a developmental leap towards leadership in education, and as part of supporting the state\u2019s efforts to eradicate illiteracy and enhance employment opportunities and vocational training in general, the OMC Economic System (Egyptian Workers Industrial Complex) witnessed the signing of a joint cooperation protocol with the General Authority for Adult Education.<\/strong><\/p>\n The protocol was signed by Eng. Haitham Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the OMC Economic System, Major General Eng. Raed Ali Heikal, Executive Chairman of the General Authority for Adult Education, and senior Authority officials.<\/p>\n This strategic cooperation aims to open dedicated classes to suit the needs of students aged 15 and above, in addition to organizing and preparing accurate databases for students, and providing financial and in-kind incentives in general. For his part, Major General Engineer Raed Ali Heikal stressed that eradicating illiteracy is a national duty and a national responsibility, explaining that the Authority works according to three strategic axes: blocking the sources of illiteracy, eradicating adult illiteracy, and cooperating with civil society.<\/p>\n He added that the Authority has begun expanding its economic empowerment efforts through craft education and connecting students with productive activities such as carpet making, sewing, and handicrafts. He noted that the protocol with the OMC represents a qualitative shift toward linking education to production and employment.<\/p>\n For his part, Engineer Haitham Hussein explained that the protocol falls within the framework of the OMC\u2019s societal role in supporting the state\u2019s initiatives to build the Egyptian human capital. He praised Major General Raed Heikal\u2019s thought and advanced vision for developing the adult education experience in line with the requirements of the new republic. Hussein added in a statement that the Authority\u2019s success in its mission requires working according to a new vision based on The Chairman of the OMC Board of Directors indicated that the system will support the Authority nationwide, whether through financial and logistical training for its leaders or through specialized programs in leadership, strategic planning, marketing, and cybersecurity, enhancing its ability to transform into an effective, modern institution. It\u2019s worth noting that classroom study will be conducted on a self-contracting basis, free of charge, and will last from 3 to 6 months. It also includes providing free technological and digital training and qualifications at the Etsa Center in Fayoum, with qualified applicants being hired without any financial compensation.
